Robert^8 Van Vickle (Enoch^7, Evert^6 Van Vickle, Evert^5 Van Wicklen, Frederick^4, Evert^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 Jeppes), b. abt 1838, in Ohio or Illinois. (Dorothy Williams--26 March2001 email--Brian Christensen's Van Vickle Research, 1982-2001 cites a Robert Van Vickle who died 25 May 1920. This may be the death date for this Robert.) He married Julia Ann White (b. abt 1940 in Illinois) before 1861. Julia died 7 October 1923 (Vermilion Co., IL deaths through 1945 in Brian Christensen, Van Vickle Research, 1982-2001) Robert and Julia were living in MN at the time of the 1870 census but eventually moved back to Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois where they died and are buried in Johnson Cemetery.

Children: Calvin^9 Van Vickle, b. 25 September 1860 in Danville, Vermilion Co., IL and d. October 1941. He married Anna Deniza Roach; James^9 Van Vickle, b. abt 1862 in IL; Rachel^9 Van Vickle, b. abt 1865 in IL. She married Michael A. Roach, Jr. (b. 1953 in Cass Co., IN); Andrew^9 Van Vickle, b. Jan 1868 in MN. He married Clara E. ____ (b. May 1869, IL) abt 1885; Julia^9 Mae Van Vickle, b. 3 May 1872 in MN and d. 14 Jan 1953, Danville, IL. She married Robert George Huffman (b. 6 Jul 1866, Vermilion, IL, and d.  19 Nov 1951, Danville, Vermilion, IL) on 21 Dec 1893, Vermilion, IL. Both are buried in Atherton Cemetery in Danville, IL; Anna^9 Van Vickle, b. 1875, MN; Sarah^9 Van Vickle, b. October 1879 in MN; Charles^9 Van Vickle, b. 3 Sep 1886, MN and d.
